Recently i was listening to a health podcast, the name of the interviewed doctor was, Kelly McGonigal, she wrote a book about movement, our team is so into movement that i decide to learn more, the book it´s called “The joy of movement”.
If you ever wondered if there is something that could reduce your pain and make u happier or maybe give u some joy? If the answer is yes, you came to the right blog.
The key to joy
- Connect and create community: She said that when you workout some hormones increase their production, so it’s easier for you to be sociable. Have a community how motivates you.
- Shape your identity: You know that feeling when you just feel hopeless with your body ? Well Mcmonagle says that when you do any exercise you start knowing parts of you, that you didn’t, you start tonking. “i´m strong” or “i´m so flexible” instade of “i did something strong”
You would access different parts of yourself depending on what you do, you start to be a flexible person. Don’t do things just because, do everything with a meaning, stop following what people do and start doing anything that gives you joy.
You would never associate cardio to brain or memory enhancer but what you didn’t know is that….. IT THOSE!!!
Study shows that people with higher cardiovascular ability have a higher brain volume. So please make yourself a favor, go put some workout clothes and go aout for a run, jump or go our on a bike.
